Words per minute (WPM)

A word is counted as 5 characters, including spaces. Net WPM = (correct characters / 5) / minutes, so mistakes lower your score.

Accuracy

Accuracy is the percentage of keystrokes that matched the text. Fixing a typo with Backspace still counts as an error, because the wrong key was pressed.
